In September 2022, Reverend Steve Wilson joined First Parish as our 1/4 time minister. After earning his M.Div at Boston University, he began serving UU congregations across the country. His family and roots called him back to Lexington and FPC is fortunate to have his humor, balance of philosophy and spirituality, and his deep commitment to service. Reverend Steve's sermons are well attended, on the 1st and 3rd of each month, and he leads a Theology Group and a Writing Group. His youthful energy is infectious and brings delight to the young and old.

Barbara Moloney was born in Colorado, where she studied nursing at the University of Colorado.  She lived in Ireland for eight years, and her son Ciaran was born there.  In 1989 Barbara moved to Billerica.  As she searched for a spiritual home, she was inspired by UU principles and encouraged by First Parish Church Billerica members to join in 1992.  Barbara has a background in critical care nursing and has been a nurse educator for over 20 years. She recently retired from her full-time position as director for the MSN programs at Endicott College. She hopes to devote more time to mentoring new faculty, gardening, sailing, and her work at First Parish Church.

The FPC Board of Trustees oversees church operations and legal responsibilities. The Board has seven members, with staggered three-year terms. Incoming Board members are elected by the congregation at its Annual Meeting in June.

Congregants are invited to attend Board meetings (2nd Thursdays, 7pm).

Minister Emerit

The title Minister Emeritus (masc.) / Emerita (fem.) / Emerit (neutral) is granted to honor a minister's long and meritorious service to the First Parish Church in Billerica. The Congregation votes to confer Emerita/Emeritus/Emerit status upon a minister
