"Grave of the Fireflies" Screening

Please join Chris Tribou and Reverend Steve in the Parish Hall to watch the classic Japanese animated WWII film “Grave of the Fireflies”.

This war tragedy film is based on a 1967 short story. Set in the city of Kobe, Japan in June 1945, it tells the story of two sibling war orphans who at the end of WWII desperately struggle to survive. This film has been ranked as one of the greatest war films of all time and is recognized as a major work of Japanese animation.
